As a ceramicist with us, you will work at the heart of our production. Here, we transform raw materials into unique, handcrafted tiles. The role requires both an artistic eye and a high degree of discipline as we work towards specific orders and quality requirements.
Your main responsibilities:
- Shaping and pressing: Manufacturing tiles according to established methods.
- Glazing: Applying glaze with precision to ensure the right finish and color.
- Oven work: Loading, firing, and unloading kilns.
- Quality control: Sorting and inspecting finished products.
- Maintenance: Daily care of tools and workstations.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with documented training in ceramics. As the work involves producing larger volumes, we see that you enjoy physical work and have the ability to maintain a steady pace without compromising on details.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has good material knowledge (clay, drying processes, and glaze chemistry).
- Is meticulous, punctual, and quality-conscious.
- Enjoys working independently.
- Has good physical condition (heavy lifting and repetitive tasks are involved).
